Donald Trump's former manager, Brad Parscale, has been hospitalized after 'barricading himself in his home and threatening to shoot himself' local police say.
.
On Sunday afternoon September 27, Police were called to a Fort Lauderdale home owned by Bradley and his wife, Candice Parscale.
.
According to reports, his wife allegedly called the police worried that Brad was suicidal and had firearms.
.
According to Police Chief Karen Dietrich the encounter between police and Parscale was brief.
.
"We went out and it was very short. We went and got him help," Dietrich said.
.
She added that Parscale did not threaten police and was willingly detained before being taken to hospital.
.
Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis told the Sentinel that he received a message saying there was a SWAT team at Parscale's house as at Sunday.
.
"It was indicated to me that he had weapons," the Mayor said.
In a statement released Monday morning, Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said;
.
"Brad Parscale is a member of our family and we all love him. We are ready to support him and his family in any way possible."
